<h4>How To Type At 150 wpm?</h4>
What is touch typing?
Touch typing is a typing style that practices typing without looking at the keyboard. The underlying idea of touch typing is that each finger owns a specific segment on the keyboard. Through regular practice, you will get to learn the exact position of characters on the keyboard.
Touch typing is a useful skill that allows you to communicate more efficiently and accurately convey written information. If you increase your typing speed you have effectively halved or maybe less the time it would take you to do the same amount of work. According to an article, fast typing saves 21 days in a year whether that time is spent in chatting, searching, blogging, and coding. The cumulative of all gives you approximately 21 days. With those 21 days, you can do a lot more.

Hunt and Peck or better if I would say two-finger typing, a normal human uses a two-finger technique to type i.e. the person hunts the key by sight and then uses only one finger of each hand to press the keys. Many times, it appears to be a frustrating practice. The average typing speed when one uses 2 fingers is less than the one who uses touch typing. Once you start typing without looking at the keyboard, you will certainly observe the change within you.

Touch typing is an optimal typing technique. It is foremost important to learn to place the fingers on the home row of the keyboard because the fingers or hands may get raised from their start position to operate another task.

On the QWERTY keyboard, you should place all of the fingers of both hands on the home row. The right-hand fingers should be placed on "J K L ;" with the right thumb on the space bar and the left-hand fingers should be placed on "A S D F" with the left thumb on the space bar as shown in the image.

The F Key and J key in our keyboard come with bumps that let you recognize them by touching them. In this way, you overcome your practice of searching keys and reset the fingers at the home row with sense. Place the index finger of the left hand on the F&nbsp; key and the right index finger on the J key and with this, you get an overview of the keyboard. When typing, imagine the location of the symbol on the keyboard and maintain the rhythm as shown in the image.

There are plenty of websites available online where you can improve your typing speed, efficiency and reduce your typing speed. Must be thinking why typing speed will get reduced?
Say for an instant if you write 10 documents a day for work, it might take you around 2 hours to write these documents using just two fingers at a rate of 27 WPM. There is no doubt that it would take a longer time and you might end up typing in frustration. But with touch typing, it would take closer to 1 hour to write the same exact documents if you were touch-typing at a speed of 50 WPM. That adds up to a full hour of extra time every day!

I must tell you one thing that progress is not linear in touch typing. Today your speed might be 50 wpm, tomorrow it might get increased to 60 wpm, and a day after tomorrow it might get reduced to 40 wpm. Progress is not linear in touch typing. Your focus should be only on accuracy like if you type 30 wpm with only 2 errors then that's considered more than the one that types 40 wpm but does 10 errors.&nbsp; It's a pro tip which somebody recommended me and now I am recommending because if you type correctly, for sure you are going to maintain good typing skill in future as well. 
With practice, you will gain your speed but you won't gain accuracy. In the beginning, you should focus on maintaining good accuracy. If your accuracy is 100% but your typing speed is only 7 wpm or 11 wpm or maybe less, that is far better than one with a typing speed of 24 wpm but has 99% accuracy.
You don't need a specific keyboard for touch typing. Any standard keyboard with smooth typing is suitable for practicing touch typing.

You can earn money depending on your skills, speed, and efforts. You can start freelancing or apply for jobs like transcribing handwritten documents into typed documents.

While typing, you should maintain a good sitting posture. You should sit straight and remember to keep your back straight, face the screen with your head slightly tilted forward, leave the shoulder, arm, and wrist muscles. Avoid shifting your body weight to the wrists by resting on them.
