Python Program To Check Whether A Number Is A Palindrome Or Not?
In this article, we will be learning to check whether the number is palindrome or not.
Before starting, let&rsquo;s know what Palindrome numbers are:
A Palindrome Number is a collection of digits that remains the same way when read backward. These numbers are also said to be symmetrical. When its digits are reversed, they turn out to be the same number as the original number. e.g., 12321 is a Palindrome number.
Now we will learn to check if the number provided is Palindrome or not in Python.

Starting with the solution:
Function ideology:
 The solution can be followed in 2 steps. The first step will provide the number in reverse order, which will approach the second step, which will compare the number before operation and the number after the operation.&nbsp;
So, continuing with the approaches:&nbsp;
1. Getting the number in reverse order.
a. The input provided by the user is stored in the variable &ldquo;number.&rdquo;&nbsp;Another variable, &ldquo;reverse&rdquo; is initialized with &ldquo;0&rdquo; that will contain the reversed number, and the &ldquo;temp&rdquo; variable will contain the same value provided by the user.

b. Before proceeding further. Keeping in mind that:

<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">&nbsp;&nbsp;% modulo operator -&gt; Divides left-hand operand by right-hand operand and gives the remainder.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">// floor operator -&gt; the floor division // rounds the result down to the nearest whole number.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
c. We will use a while loop to iterate through each digit because we don&rsquo;t know how many digits will be given by the user.
Note: Here we have not discussed the conditions to stop the iteration in the loop, which will be discussed further.

d. Inside the while loop, we will fetch the last digit using the modulo operator and store it in a temporary variable dig.

&nbsp;and then that last digit will be removed using floor division.

Before removing that last digit, operations to the reverse variable are performed.
e. Reverse variable stores the value by multiplying itself with 10 and then adding it with a temporary variable dig which is our last digit.

f. As the loop continues, every last digit of the input number will be removed from the initial number, meaning, in 1st loop 123 will become 12 and in the second iteration, it becomes 1, at last, when the provided number will be less than 0 that will be the breakpoint for the loop or will be the condition to exit the while loop.&nbsp;
If the input number becomes less than 0 then it will stop the iteration. Which is carried out by the floor division.
Entire while loop: &nbsp;

 reverse = reverse * 10 + dig

At this position, we got the reverse of that input value.

2. Checking if the provided number and its reverse are the same or not
With the help of if and else condition we will distinguish, if the provided value is Palindrome or not.
If the provided value (number variable) equals temp then the number will be palindrome and if it is not then the number will not be a palindrome. 
I.e. temp == reverse
